Laura Goldberg utilizes a strength-based approach that focuses on the present. Laura and her clients work together as a team to identify the strengths and skills clients already have in place and then expand upon them. She provides unconditional support in a trusting environment as clients learn new tools that promote growth and empowerment. 

Laura has consulted with corporate clients assisting them to navigate office dynamics, communicate and manage feedback effectively, and increase positive leadership and management skills. She has provided services to individuals assisting them with goal setting, increasing positive communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills. Laura has coached parents to help them to increase positive parenting skills including utilizing firm boundaries with compassion and positive self-care. 


Laura has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. She has a multitude of experience providing services to under-served youth and their families. Laura has worked as a Child and Family Therapist in the Foster Care System, designed and presented Community Building Workshops to Burmese and Iraqi refugees, and provided In-Home Tutoring Services to low-income students attending underperforming schools in Los Angeles and San Diego Counties.
