I have discovered that when I make a decision based upon faith and determination, it frequently produces a positive outcome. Recently, I was driving on a Southern California freeway system during rush hour. My journey took me on four different freeways. When I finally saw the sign for my off ramp, I had to yield to the incoming traffic that crisscrossed my off ramp. I didn’t have much time and traffic was pretty dicey, but I was determined to take this exit. If I missed it I would automatically enter yet another freeway, and that was not going to happen! I had already traveled for over two hours and I was done. I checked my mirrors, looked over my shoulder and after making sure it was safe, I executed this maneuver with skill and grace. I remember feeling this sudden burst of energy accompanied by the thought that nothing was going to stop me from my destination. 

As I exited the freeway ramp with a feeling of accomplishment, I realized that I had just learned a valuable lesson from the freeway. When we have a clear idea of where we want to go, we need to make a decision based upon faith, look both ways, put the pedal to the metal, and then go! Determination is key. Energy and perseverance will take us where we need to go. Then at just the right time, we will manifest exactly what we need for our highest good and that of our planet.
